Unit Topic: Life Science
Lesson Topic: Cellular Respiration
Lesson Objective: SWBAT explain how the process of respiration and photosynthesis are recycled.
Essential Question: How can we be familiar with the existence of something that is colorless, odorless, and tasteless?

Daily Activities:
Monday- Students will observe gases in obvious form by completing the lab on the following website: http://galileo.phys.virginia.edu/Education/outreach/8thGradeSOL/GasesRealFrm.htm
Tuesday- Students will complete lab.
Wednesday – Students will relate lab on gases to the process of respiration in animals by studying the animal cell.
Thursday- Students will relate lab on gases to the process of photosynthesis in plants by studying the plant cell.
Friday- Students will relate the process of respiration &photosynthesis.

Plans for Differentiation of Instruction/Reaching all Learners: Visuals will be utilized. Grouping of students. TPR (Total Physical Recall) will be used by teacher in order to fully explain concepts that are briefly described in the textbook & computer websites http://galileo.phys.virginia.edu/Education/outreach/8thGradeSOL/GasesRealFrm.htm will be utilized.

Assessments: Monitor students' performance, computer lab, check assignments, and observe participation, Q&A, informal & formal assessment, computer tests.
